12 Month Contract

£48,500 - £51,700 per annum DOE


My high-profile investment banking client are recruiting for a Business Administrator to join their Business Management team to work in their London based offices on a 12 month maternity contract.

You will be working on a hybrid basis of 3 days a week inoffice & 2 working at home.


Role Description
There are three functions within the Business Management team.

The
Business Administratorprimarily supports the Business Administration responsibilities, but there is also opportunity to work closely with the other team functions:

Business Control delivers tasks that have a 1LOD risk management focus including acting as the key liaison point with regards to all audit functions, Hardcopy Records management, Legal Holds monitoring and procedure inventory oversight.

Business Administration delivers administrative focussed tasks including ownership of the firm's incident & crisis management response, training programme co-ordination, and employee data analysis. There is a
Vendor Managementsub-team that is responsible for ensuring effective and regulatory/corporate policy compliant oversight is in place for all Newton third party vendors and inter-affiliate service providers, and that business users are supportedto manage their vendors effectively.

Business Management (US)delivers tasks in line with the other team functions where a US focus is required and leads the business continuity programme across all locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee data requirements. Includes administration of the weekly Joiners & Leavers analysis and downstream actions, and supporting the administration of the Employee Reward Program _(managed by Business Control team)._
  • Deliver the Vocational Trainee Programme _(managed by team Head). _Includes the recruitment and onboarding of vocational trainees, providing ongoing workplace support, and the design and delivery of promotional events.
  • Provide office management support to the QVS location _(managed by the Business Control team)_. Includes supporting staff to use the office facilities (e.g. lockers), Covid management, and liaison with Facilities teams for significant office changes/issues.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of all Business Management team responsibilities in order to provide support and cover to each team function and input to key business strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Represent the team in meetings (internal and external) when required and demonstrate effective relationships within other areas. For teamled meetings produce meeting packs, minutes and manage attendees' diaries.
  • Support all Management Information and Compliance reporting (and adhoc reporting to any other business area) for the team e.g. monthly management signoff packs, team KRI data, and adhoc statistics. Provide input into audit and control processes (internaland external auditors) on behalf of the team.
  • Support on ad hoc team and project work as and when required.
