    TME group is a leading distributor of electronic components supporting customers globally. We are one of the fastest growing distributors in Europe serving a broad selection of instock electronic, electromechanical, industrial automation components as well as workplace equipment.

    With more than 30 years of experience, we are constantly developing and entering new markets. Currently, we have 12 subsidiaries – 9 in Europe and 3 outside Europe (USA, China, and an upcoming office in India). We employ over 1,500 people and send our shipments to more than 150 countries worldwide.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining long‑term and improving customer relationships through regular customer visits – readiness to travel.
    • Visiting customers – mainly seeing prospects physically, with follow‑up at the office or via homework. The ratio visits/office is 80/20.
    • Developing existing accounts and finding new opportunities.
    • Managing and expanding product and market knowledge.
    • Attending trade fairs, events and conferences to promote the company.
    • Preparing offers and cooperating with sales specialists.
    • Providing excellent follow‑up after making price quotes for prospects and customers.
    • Providing great customer service (placing orders, checking product availability and delivery time, handling complaints, etc.).
    • Contributing to the company's commercial and marketing strategy.
    • Searching for information about the local market, fairs and other business opportunities for TME.
    • Identifying customer needs and translating these into the sales and marketing strategy.
    • Providing daily activity reports.
    • Collaborating with sales inside and account managers.
    • Conducting sales activity of TME products (electronics market) on the English market.
    • Processing customer transactions such as orders, quotes and claims.
    • Providing the highest level of customer service (including phone calls).
    • Filling requests for samples, catalogues or information about products.
    • Analysing the market's needs and requirements.
    • Meeting personal and team sales targets.
    • Generating new and repeatable business through customer service initiatives.
    • Performing administration and other office work.
    • Sell TME company's products.
    • New customer acquisition and customer retention.
    • Process, update or change customer purchase orders.
    • Handle, organise and process customer quote requests.
    • Respond to customer inquiries within a call centre environment accurately (e.g. email, phone, webchat).
    • Preparing individual offers for clients.
    • Evaluate customer needs and build/maintain productive long‑lasting relationships.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve all customers' issues.
    • Issue sales documents in line with orders.
    • Report and provide feedback to the company's management.
    • Maintain and expand the client database within the assigned territory.
    • Attend meetings, sales events and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest developments.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of electronic components – is a must.
    • At least 2 years of sales experience.
    • Driving licence.
    • Ready for mobile work – visiting customers 4 days a week.
    • Can‑do mentality with initiative and a nose for spotting opportunities.
    • Enthusiastic, communicative and determined; conveys information confidently and honestly.
    • Strong communication skills (English) and interpersonal skills to work closely with other departments.
    • Independent and proactive thinking/working naturally.
    • Jovial team player.

    • Ability to build relations with customers.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience in administration/secretary tasks.
    • Responsibility and self‑discipline.
    • Customer orientation and strong ability to provide the highest level of customer service.
