Title:
Head of Property Accounts and Finance - London


Salary:
£60-65K

  • OER are seeking a Head of Accounts and Finance for a leading firm of chartered surveyors and property consultants. We'd love to hear from you if you have the experience and leadership ability to excel in this role._

Main Duties:


  • Managing a team of five
  • Providing reports to management surveyors
  • Ensuring service charge accounts and budgets are completed on a timely basis
  • Analysis of departments monthly Profit and Loss figures
  • Liaise with Group Accountant on department aged debtors and unallocated cash
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation on the managed properties bank account
  • Reporting monthly income forecasts to Group Accountant.
  • Annual meeting review with departments main accountants
  • Ensuring the accounts team complies with current regulations
  • Dealing with the quarterly return and deduction of tax from nonregistered clients
  • Monthly team review of department with head of department

Person Specification:


  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong team player as well as excellent leadership abilities
  • Superb interpersonal skills at all levels
