The client

Nigel Wright are excited to be partnering with this highly successful, family run, consumer business based in the North East.

Following on from strong growth in revenue, our client is ambitious to move the business forward and are now looking for a MarketingManager to play a key role in their growth journey.


The role

The role of Marketing Manager is a pivotal and newly created role, reporting to the Sales Director, the Marketing Manager will increase brand awareness and sales through the promotion of Group products and services via coordinated marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities

Working across two brands (which form the wider group), the Marketing Manager will develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote products and services, both regionally and nationally, and through a variety of mediums such as social media, CRM, radio andTV advertising.


CRM:


  • Communicate with target audiences to build and develop customer relationships
  • Strategise best practice to reduce basket abandonment
  • Ensure a 'test and learn' approach to content and processes.
  • Analyse data to determine ways to optimise performance to improve conversion and retention

Brand Marketing

  • Support the creation of marketing plans
  • Source advertising opportunities and manage spend
  • Work with external creative agencies to design marketing collateral such as brochures and adverts
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns

Online and Performance Tracking

  • Manage social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
  • Produce creative content for social media
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer satisfaction surveys such as NPS
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to evaluate effectiveness
  • Track and report on marketing performance and spend as well as return on investment
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

About you

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems and techniques is preferrable
  • Working knowledge of CRM Systems (Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable but not
- essential)

  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Copywriting and design skills in order to produce marketing materials for both print and online
  • A strong creative flare
  • An eye for detail
