Are you looking for a new challenge? Single Point of Access (SPA) is looking to recruit a Band 4 Team Administrator to join our busy and exciting multi-disciplinary team on a 1 year fixed term contract.
The post holder will work within a 24-hour rota system (including late shifts and Weekends) - ensuring that a comprehensive service is provided to patients 365 days a year.
This post will demand that you are highly motivated, can be flexible in an ever changing environment and can communicate effectively across a multi-professional team.

- In the absence of the Admin Lead ensure even workload distribution for Band 4/3 and/or temporary staff associated with the team.
- In the absence of the Admin Lead arrange straight forward cover arrangements seeking the agreement with the line manager where necessary.
- To provide a full range of admin support to the team: e.g. sorting and dealing with correspondence, filing, photocopying, typing, archiving, referral tracking etc.
- To audio or copy type and proof read letters, memos, notes and reports and ensure they are directed to the appropriate departments, GPs or other organisation within agreed timescales.
- To draft /send responses to correspondence, after appropriate approval.
- To maintain waiting lists, team patient lists and referral information as appropriate.
- To arrange meetings and assist with locally held training events or workshops E.g. room bookings, hospitality, IT equipment.
- To assist in producing agendas and papers for meetings in timely manner.
- To supporting the production of presentations using Powerpoint when required.
- To take minutes at meetings, transcribe and distribute as required.
- To provide admin support for investigations (complaints, incidents, audits, surveys and projects) to meet specified timescales.
- To maintain appropriate stock levels of clinical, nonclinical stock and nonstock goods and inform the line manager when items need ordering or any Estates and Facilities issues (e.g. broken lights etc).
