New and exciting opportunity as a Treasury Analyst working for a specialist underwriting group.

Based in the city of London, your main responsibility involves meeting all investments and cash flow reporting requirements relating to the group and managedsyndicate.

In this hybrid-working role, you will report into the Treasury Manager.

Interaction with internal and external stakeholders and delivering reports in accordance with required timelines is critical to the success of this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for Investment ledger control, investment recording and revaluation of investments on both a UK and US GAAP basis.
  • Completion of the QAD and AAD returns to Lloyd's.
  • Completion of form 1042 Withholding tax submissions to Lloyd's.
  • Completion of any investment reporting requirements for VAT.
  • Preparation of various schedules to manage financial risks of investments for the Financial Risks Sub-Committee.
  • Production of weekly investments P&L report, with analysis of movements.
  • Production of other quarterly investment information to meet Board requirements.
  • Attendance at fortnightly meetings with Investment Manager and maintaining documentation of meetings.
  • Preparation of data for capital modelling purposes
  • Internal Model and Standard Formula.
  • Maintenance of electronic banking systems.
  • Completion of W8BEN forms for the various banks.
  • Ensure sufficient funds in all bank accounts to cover payments.
  • Monitoring of cash daily and considering transfer of cash to Investment Managers or the need to execute foreign currency trades.
  • Documentation and review of investment process flows ensuring up to date at all times.
  • Create, monitor and document controls in your area of responsibility that interact with the financial reporting process.
  • Review and signoff of daily cash position & monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Preparemonthlycustodian and Investment Market Value reconciliations.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Understand UK and US GAAP investment accounting.
  • Able to deal capably with accounting systems and requirements.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial information and work to a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of the Lloyd's market and syndicate operations, including Lloyd's Trust Fund requirements preferred.
