Energy Storage Systems Engineer

Location:
Derbyshire / Bristol


Salary:
£40,000 - £60,000 + Package

What you will be doing:

  • Developing lightweight, safe and highly efficient Energy Storage Systems within a small team
  • Develop System level requirements and roadmap for a number of innovative projects
  • Communicate directly with customers and suppliers to outline commercially viable solutions
  • Providing deep and expert technical guidance toward product design and delivery Engineers
  • Collaborate in design reviews across the global team within the Energy Storage Design focused programmes
  • Research and identify new technology solutions for Energy Storage System improvements

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience and understanding of Battery systems for vehicle industries (Aerospace, Automotive, Marine)
  • Experience with DFM and V&V activities for Energy Storage Systems
  • Familiarity working within a highly regulated environment following industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills with both expert and nonexpert audiences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
