Our children have a wide range of needs which may or may not have been officially diagnosed.

Our aim is to support and help our children's development, encouraging them to achieve the best they possibly can.

From building friendships to developing communication, every child has different abilities and needs and this is encouraged at every stage by our amazing team.

We provide quality learning experiences to help all children to develop to their full potential. Activities and experiences offer children opportunities to develop and explore.


Duties and responsibilities
Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Prepare and supervise activities, and support children at all times

Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors

Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors

Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery

Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line manager

To be committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care

Providing high standards of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children.


Working as part of a team to provide a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with parents and guardians.

Hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification at least Level 2 or above

Have experience working with children who have special needs

Have a passion for working with children who have special needs

Have strong communication skills both written and verbal

Have knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures

Have experience of the EYFS and using it within a nursery setting

Be enthusiastic, passionate and full of ideas to encourage learning and development

Need a clear and valid DBS

Be on time and punctual at all times

£12.00-£14.00 per hour

No more than 40 per week
