Assembly & Test Technician


We have an opportunity for an Assembly & Test Technician to join us at Honeywell, in Poole, where you will be responsible for working as part of the manufacturing team, working to assembly drawings and performing product testing.

Key requirements

  • Read, understand and work to Assembly Drawings, Parts Lists, Process Specifications & Standard Operating Sheets and carry out tests where necessary
  • Undertaking light electronic/general mechanical assembly & testing
  • Hand soldering to IPC-A 610 level
  • Working as part of the wider manufacturing team
  • Working safely within the team, conducting 1 safety observation per week

Key skills and qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to hand solder
  • IT skills to ensure accurate updating of systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player
