HLTH Group - Events Co-Ordinator
Our HLTH Training team are looking for an Events Co-Ordinator to support our team in organising our healthcare compliance training events.
You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from securing bookings, communicating with venues & delegates, working alongside our Marketing team, supporting in the on-site delivery of events, and monitoring feedback received after the delivery of events.
We work with healthcare providers across the UK, delivering both online and in-person events at a number of prestigious venues - including The Oval, Lord's Cricket Ground, Malmaison Hotels, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Rudding Park and many more.
The goal is to organise industry-leading training events that will ensure that delegates receive an informative, enjoyable and seamless experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand requirements for each event
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
- Book and communicate with venues
- Join our Training team onsite in delivery of our events
- Work alongside our Marketing team to promote the events
- Research venues and choose the best combination of quality and cost
- Negotiate with venues to achieve the most favourable terms
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate event's success and submit reports
Requirements and skills
- Experience as Event Co-Ordinator is desirable, but not required
- A track record of organising successful events is also desirable
- Proficient in MS Office, Eventbrite and/or similar platform
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic about improving our healthcare sector
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Wellorganised with multitasking skills
- Able to handle stress and remain calm
- Problemsolving ability
- Degree in hospitality management, marketing or relevant field is desirable but not required

£20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
