HLTH Group - Events Co-Ordinator

Our HLTH Training team are looking for an Events Co-Ordinator to support our team in organising our healthcare compliance training events.


You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from securing bookings, communicating with venues & delegates, working alongside our Marketing team, supporting in the on-site delivery of events, and monitoring feedback received after the delivery of events.


We work with healthcare providers across the UK, delivering both online and in-person events at a number of prestigious venues - including The Oval, Lord's Cricket Ground, Malmaison Hotels, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Rudding Park and many more.


The goal is to organise industry-leading training events that will ensure that delegates receive an informative, enjoyable and seamless experience.


Responsibilities

  • Understand requirements for each event
  • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
  • Book and communicate with venues
  • Join our Training team onsite in delivery of our events
  • Work alongside our Marketing team to promote the events
  • Research venues and choose the best combination of quality and cost
  • Negotiate with venues to achieve the most favourable terms
  • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
  • Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
  • Evaluate event's success and submit reports

Requirements and skills

  • Experience as Event Co-Ordinator is desirable, but not required
  • A track record of organising successful events is also desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office, Eventbrite and/or similar platform
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic about improving our healthcare sector
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Wellorganised with multitasking skills
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm
  • Problemsolving ability
  • Degree in hospitality management, marketing or relevant field is desirable but not required
