Butler rose are partnered with a fantastic well known business in Kendal. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a fantastic business that is experiencing huge growth.

Working closely with senior management team this role willbe pivotal in delivering improved reporting and financial understanding throughout the business to support profitable growth.

The role offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to develop and lead a first-class finance function.

Your new role as Financial Controller:

Your duties will include:
Production of the monthly management packs including commentary and analysis to highlight issues and improvements

Preparing the monthly supporting balance sheet reconciliations

Taking charge of the annual budgeting and forecasting process

Preparing the year-end figures for the statutory accounts

Analysing performance in relation to budgets

Production of weekly flash figures for the businesses

Putting in robust controls and systems for cost control as the business expands

Controlling business costs and identifying opportunities to improve profitability

Authorisation of the weekly and monthly staff payroll

Ongoing maintenance of accurate financial records

Monitoring cash flows for the businesses where necessary

The Experience & Qualifications Required:
ACA / ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Driven & ambitious individual who will thrive in a swiftly moving, ever-changing environment

Management experience including personnel and team development

Your Reward & The Package On Offer:
As Financial Controller, you shall receive
A salary up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
