Quality Inspectors are required for a powder coating company in the Great Barr, Birmingham area due to openings in the QC team.

Reporting directly to the Manager, you will be responsible for the checks of automotive level product prior to despatch from the facility.

Your main responsibilities will be;

Visual inspection of automotive product in line with customer standards.
Physical and measurable checks in line with customer standards and working procedure.
Daily checks on plant settings to ensure they fall in line with customer expectations.
Logging of test results for QC Department analysis.
Feeding back daily key information from the day's production to highlight reoccurring issues and to aid continuous improvement.
Support the production team around you and assist where feasible and suitable, if required.

Your skills and experience;

Powder coating experience would also be advantageous.
A keen eye for detail is critical.
Have the ability to communicate confidently at multiple levels of business if required.
Punctuality and reliability are key attributes.

Full on the job training will be provided regarding the products, product standards, and the Quality systems and requirements currently in place.
