Overview:


Bio-Rad is seeking a Field Application Specialist to provide sales and support to our customers and sales team & be the technical expert on Quality Control.


Responsibilities

  • Support Account
- and Key Account Managers in analysing customers' technical or organizational difficulties, & presenting relevant solutions.

  • Recommend technical solutions, answer customers' questions & conduct demos.
  • Organizing and executing onsite Customer training and initial instrument setup
  • Explaining technical solutions and benefits, helping customers implementing the solution by supporting the installation and go live process.
  • Supporting the Sales Team and Distributors' sales activities to ensure territory and regional sales targets are achieved.
  • Documenting all activities and additional information gathered in SFDC/Service Max & ensuring the system is kept up to date.
  • Occasionally providing second line technical support
  • Promotes and installs BRiCare, the Bio-Rad remote support tool to allow remote support tool.

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience working in quality control, with strong technical knowledge.
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to identify customer needs & suggest relevant technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills.
  • Strong team player, collaborative worker & very organised
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
