Are you a
motivated and adaptable individual with a passion for supporting the education of young minds? Do you have the skills to
manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher? If so, my client is searching for a
Secondary Cover Supervisor with the ability to manage behaviour &
support students across KS3-KS5.

Position:
Secondary Cover Supervisor

Location:
Leeds

Salary:
d£80 - £90 per day

Contract Type:
Temporary with the potential to go permenant

Start Date:

ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
Implement preset lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
Assist students in their learning, answering questions and providing guidance as needed.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure that students adhere to school rules and policies.
Support students' engagement in learning tasks and maintain a productive atmosphere.
Report on students' behaviour and progress to the appropriate staff members.

Requirements:

A minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in education or a related field is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and ability to follow instructions & lesson plans.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students.
Adaptability and the capacity to handle unexpected situations in the classroom.
A passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning.
Confidence and composure in managing classroom behavior and dynamics.
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
