- Be able to hold FACE TO FACE sessions in Putney
- Live a maximum of 1 hour by public transport from Putney
Please note:
Psychotherapist - £50 + p/ session min.
Counselling Psychologist - £80 + p/session min.
Wellbeing Centre London is a small privately run centre based in Putney South West London that brings together qualified, experienced psychotherapists, counsellors, Psychologists for adults, couples and children 8+.
We believe that there is no one size fit all when it comes to therapy and that success of any therapeutic intervention depends on the therapeutic approach and client/therapist fit.
Your working day is similar to that of a consultant in your own private practice, with the difference, of not having to do marketing, not having extra expenses with the promotion of your private practice and paying for the therapy room.
Job description
As a Wellbeing Centre London Associate, Psychotherapist or a Counselling Psychologist you will provide sessional, FACE to FACE SESSIONS to clients with a broad range of issues, ranging from anxiety to eating disorders or relationship issues.
- To conduct brief 15 minutes introduction of yourself to clients referred to you for therapy
- To conduct assessments with clients referred to you for therapy
- To provide sessions relevant to your therapeutic approach to clients on face to face basis at the rooms we provide in Putney, SW London
- To complete the usual admin around client work and to complete simple monthly client attendance reports
- To maintain your own client records and hold them in a secure locked area.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Hold a relevant qualification and be part of the membership body relevant to your type of therapeutic approach
- Use CBT approach amongst others
- Have at least 3 years of postqualification experience
- As a psychotherapist or a psychologist, have experience in managing a full clinical caseload with responsibility for clients' psychotherapeutic care and treatment
- Experience in working with a wide range of presenting issues of varying degrees
- Have your own professional indemnity insurance
- Have excellent communication skills and empathetic solution based approach
- Be confident and positive, providing first class service to our clients
- Ability to offer at least six hours a week, and ability to offer some evening hours (at least one evening per week).
Must have:
- Regular supervision and keep records of your ongoing continuing professional development
- Reliable internet connection and antivirus and antimalware installed on your computer equipment.
- Comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
- A good understanding of professional guidelines and codes of practice.
- Be available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday
