Description
The post holder will develop and oversee the Core Living Well Team.

This will include the day to day management of the living well team which will include Mental Health Practitioners, Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners, Recovery and Peer Support workers across Multi-agencies.

The staff within the team may be employed by a number of organisations working within the same team and same processes but different HR processes.


  • The postholder will oversee the implementation of operational day to day activities including the daily and weekly Multidisciplinary Team meetings.
  • To actively shape shared governance arrangements for Living well within the borough and ensure a shared agreement is implemented and signed. Responsible for ensuring risks are effectively escalated.
  • Contribute towards the development and sustainability of multidisciplinary and multi agency working
  • To be responsible for the receiving, interpretation and implementation of GM guidance.
  • To hold responsibility (alongside the Head of Service within Biglife and PCFT) for the management of relevant aspects of the service financial budget and resources, including the management of the borough's prescribing budget when applicable alongside ICB networks.
  • Line management for staff from a number of agencies utilising the correct HR and internal procedures as required.

Clinical Lead and Collaborative working

  • To ensure effective communication with a wide range of partners and key
stakeholders that ensure a high degree of visibility and understanding of the
programme of transformation

  • To make formal presentations to large groups, including senior managers
both internally and from partner organisations, providing specialist knowledge
on the specific workstreams as well as the programme as a whole

  • The ability to effectively communicate the Trust's/Biglife strategic goals to services and broader stakeholders;
  • To develop mechanisms to involve key stakeholders, particularly patients and
carers in the service redesign process and ensure this takes place in a
creative and proactive manner and ensure they influence and own the
outcomes

  • To design and facilitate engagement and involvement sessions with service
users and their carers/families

  • To support shared learning and implementation of best clinical practice
  • Plan and organise the development of a range of complex activities, including project plans, action plans and collaborative events. This will include objective setting and agenda planning, the development of communication and presentational materials and facilitation of group and collaborative event activities
  • Delegate, organise and prioritise autonomously to ensure the safe delivery of services, making judgements and leading in complex situations eg unexpected service demands.
  • To provide specialist advice and consultation to commissioners, partner agencies and other stakeholders as part of a system leadership approach.
  • Take responsibility for dissemination of Living Well policies and procedures.
  • Key leader within the system for safeguarding and incident management and investigation.
  • Development of staff and wider system in living well model of practice.
