Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team.
The Maintenance Person will be responsible for supervising and performing maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in areas such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, decorating and general maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide guidance and leadership to other maintenance staff
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Would suit semiretired person looking for a position to use their skills and knowledge.
