Despatch Operative


Salary:
Up to £27,238 per annum


Hours: 4 on 4 off, 40.25 hour per week. 6am - 6pm

To carry out all functions associated with prepared vehicles to be presented for final Quality Control checks, vehicle imaging and sold vehicle pre-despatch cosmetic preparation


Shift:
Monday-Friday


What you'll be doing.
The role may include one or more of the following functions:

Vehicle snagging - polishing and minor cosmetic rectification work.


Plates - production and affixing of vehicle registration plates.


Runner - general duties associated with retrieving parts, documentation, loose items required to present vehicles for quality control checks. Pulling priority vehicles from WIP storage areas and movements of vehicles onto and out of work areas.


Photography - taking high quality, pre-agreed image sets of completed vehicles through designated image booths/areas.

  • Ascertain job requirements from either verbal or system driven instructions.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all Company procedures are followed.
  • Complete all tasks up to the Company standard ready for final quality control.
  • Notify linemanager of any reasons why tasks cannot be completed in a timely and accurate manor.
  • Ensure all employment, environmental, Health & Safety, PPE and other policies are strictly adhered to, always operating within the law.
  • Always maintain a safe working environment.

Who you are.

  • A proven knowledge and practical experience is essential
  • The ability to follow work instructions and complete the repair method to the required standard with a view of achieving daily production targets.
