My charitable client is looking for a strategic and motivated Finance Director.
You will be responsible for the financial affairs of the charity ensuring effective and strategic financial management and planning.


Finance Director responsibilities include:


  • Daytoday management of the finance department
  • Overseeing financial controls & reporting including management accounts, consolidated financial accounts, budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting and cashflow
  • Managing all necessary statutory returns including PAYE, VAT, Gift Aid, Corporation Tax, Companies House, National Statistics and the Charities Commission
  • Providing financial reporting & analysis for the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees

Finance Director skills & experience include:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience in financial roles at a senior level, managing all aspects of running a finance function and dealing with a range of activities
  • Ability to bring ideas from a diverse sector background, with a passion for social care, ideally gained from working within a social care organisation
  • Extensive experience of managing staff with the ability to lead, delegate effectively and motivate a team
