Our passion is education, we provide champion quality to our schools and are always improving.

We are currently working with a lovely SEN Secondary School in Southampton.

We are looking for a pro-active and personable individual to support in KS3 and KS4 classes who cater for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.

The school's focus is providing a nurturingenvironment that enables the pupils to engage successfully in all aspects of learning.

Role of an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting the class Teacher (4-8 pupils per class)
  • Supporting with outdoor day trips and activity days
  • Embrace all aspects of the school's visions and core values
  • Working with pupils with ASC, complex needs, challenging behaviours
  • Fulltime 8:30am to 3:30pm
  • 1:1 and small group work ensuring pupils stay on track with the curriculum
  • Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding
  • Experience working within a SEND/SEMH school (not essential)
  • A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with pupils
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
