Job Overview:

• We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our existing design and digital print studio team._

Firpress are the only quality assured printer in West Cumbria, providing quality print, design & large format signage services for almost 40 years.

You will be required to keep track and meet all hard deadlines, making sure your work is completed on time for customers and to the highest quality.

Your projects will include:

Design for print, amendments and updates to existing designs, print preparation checks, updating the daily studio schedule and much, much more


Essential Skills

• Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing directly with customers.
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise design and print duties and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills, working on multiple projects daily to ensure our daily print and production targets are met.

Desirable Skills

• Working experience of the Adobe CC Suite, in particular Adobe InDesign software.
• A passion for creativity.
• Good attention to detail.
• Previous experience of design & print work for litho, digital and large format printing.
• Ability to think outside the box.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Hours
You will be based at our premises 5a Buddle Road, Clay Flatts Ind Est, Workington, Cumbria CA14 3YD.

37.5 hours per week. 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday

This position cannot offer part time or flexible hours and cannot be carried out via remote working.


Contract
Fixed full-term* contract. (_An initial 6 month probationary and training period will apply.)_


Salary
Salary dependent on qualifications & experience and will be discussed at interview.


Start Date
Immediate start date, this can be worked around notice periods where necessary.


Pay:
£22,400.00-£24,000.00 per year
