Description

The appointee will work an average of 48 hours a week and will participate in a 1:8 prospective on call rota covering Theatres, Obstetrics or Intensive Care.

The international Training Fellows will not form more than 25% of any rota.

The appointee will be expected to work as part of a team with a responsibility to maintain the highest standards of anaesthetic clinical care.

This may include rotation to obstetric anaesthesia and ICU, to provide stage 1 anaesthetic curriculum equivalent experience.


Active participation in internal supporting professional activities such as Departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance & Audit is essential.

The appointee will be supervised by a team of consultants providing anaesthetic support to a wide range of surgical specialties.

The fellow will have a named Educational supervisor and will benefit from an average of 3 supervised training lists a week.

This will be monitored by our e-rota system.
