Description
The position involves a high degree of exposure, working with senior management teams to deliver real time AV services and service management of the client's global AV estate.
This role is in London, with support expected to be provided remotely for other sites with occasional on-site visits (including outside the UK) where deemed required by the customer.
The client operates on agile working policy of % in the office.RESPONSIBILITIES
The AV Technical Specialist will be part of the client's unified communications and collaboration team, with responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Client global Technology team counterparts
- Deliver ongoing 'bestpractice' training to inhouse AV Technicians and Global IT support to
- Work closely with any supplier engineers called to site
- Perform and document AV Firmware updates where necessary
- Perform and document AV Software updates where necessary
- Build relationships with AV partners such as Crestron/Cisco and be aware of future updates
- Ensure Operational availability of all AV enabled meeting rooms globally and all other AV
- Be involved in new projects requiring AV services
- Working with design CAD schematics, ensuring systems are installed and working at optimum levels and to client expectations.
- Act in a 3rd Line capacity for all raised faults.
- Upskilling other less experienced team members by hosting technical training sessions.
- Understanding of AV over IP ecosystems (Crestron NVX)
- Strong understanding of integrated AV systems, including mixers, switchers, and DSP's.
- Experience in the deployment of Cisco based Room Systems.
- Managing documentation of installed room systems
