Your opportunity


The M&A Origination Sales Executive will be a key part of a London based deal origination team focused on the Business Services, Technology, Media, Healthcare and Industrials sectors.

The team is responsible for contacting new potential clients, leveragingspecialist collateral created by the sector teams and the broader firm to engage withshareholders/management teams and obtain follow-up meetings/calls for the sector teams to attend.

The emphasis will be on the generation of new leads, increasing the numberof active opportunities for the M&A business and ultimately supporting the generation of incremental fees.


The Sales Executive will work directly with the Head of Origination, and will be involved with supporting a regular cadence of new and updated marketing collateral to support the outbound sales effort as well as lead generation.

It is anticipated that theExecutive will have reasonable leeway in the approach they take to contact new target clients and progress them to the stage of meeting with the relevant sector team.


Your role and responsibilities
The Sales Executive role will include the following activities:

  • Supports the Head of Origination in creating, maintaining and driving forward their marketing strategies
  • Assist with researching and creating a target list of potential clients across the UK and approach with each of the sector teams, comprising existing targets where no relationship has been established or new targets
  • Assist with the optimal selling messages for each client type and to agree key talking points
  • Leads the out bound marketing programme to the identified targets
  • Coordinates with other sales and marketing teams in the UK regions and within the Clients and Industries group

Your professional experience

  • Experience of outbound sales and marketing and lead generation
  • Sector or M&A experience an advantage but not essential
  • Strong project management skills: able to work independently and to milestones
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintain composure and be flexible
  • Entrepreneurial mindset highly proactive, selfstarter
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal relationship skills
