Handle and monitor all QuickSTAT & Sterling Aviation consignments ensuring compliance with all agreed company policies.

YOUR ROLE

Handle and monitor all QuickSTAT & Sterling Aviation live network activities ensuring adherence to agreed rate structures and pricing policies.

To work collaboratively with all internal departments to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Scheduling & allocation of drivers to daily collections & deliveries nationwide.
Scheduling & allocation of drivers to airport recoveries from inbound flights & outbound tenders.
Arrange suitable amalgamations based on consignment pickup windows / delivery deadlines & locations.
Monitoring all daily collections & deliveries liaising with employed drivers and thirdparty subcontractors to ensure driver schedules are being met.
Printing of driver's collection & delivery documentation.
Liaising with drivers via telephone to receive milestone information.
Data entry of key milestone information (Pick Up confirmation / Out for Delivery / Proof of Delivery details / Airline Tender / Airline Recovery).
Management of shared mailbox, to include the receipt of new transport bookings and internal queries.
Dealing with telephone enquiries from internal departments accurately and efficiently.
Maintain standards of discipline among the drivers especially regarding:
Start and Finish times

Uniform and Appearance
Vehicle Cleanliness
Parking Tickets
Vehicle Damage

Keep the Management team advised of potential & confirmed issues as they arise.
Leave appropriate shiftreport & handovers for the next shift.
To undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the Department Manager or other Senior Management.
Effective communication with all staff and cooperation within the senior management team.
Maintain a professional manner towards all staff, always seeking to implement and maintain company policy.
Encourage Teamwork, cooperation, and a good working atmosphere within the department.
Seek appropriate support as necessary from your manager to complete your responsibilities
Seek to resolve interdepartmental questions and issues as they arise and without conflict
Adhere to all Company Policies
Quality Control Procedures
Monitor existing Quality Control procedures for compliance and effectiveness
Report ineffective procedures to the respective Department Manager.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Specialist (Life Sciences / AOG) Courier Operations Experience.
Extensive knowledge of the UK Road networks
Experience of planning collections / deliveries throughout the UK.
Experience of working to strict deadlines
Comprehensive understanding of Courier / Freight Operations including Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport.
Understanding of transit milestones (COB/OFD/TTA/POD etc.)
Comprehensive understanding of the various temperaturecontrolled packaging solutions available on the open market to forwarders.
Negotiation and problemsolving skills.
Teamwork skills and strong selfmotivation ability.
Good numeric / financial ability.
Ability to work successfully under pressure
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to motivate and lead a team
Good computer skills, Word / Excel / PowerPoint essential

Industry Experience ensuring ability to undertake all tasks / responsibilities listed above.
GDP Training and Qualifications specific to transportation
