Description

We are looking for a focused and driven reporter to work predominantly on Police Oracle but also to help develop the content on Work with Offenders.

Based in London, this nationwide role has the potential to take you to any part of the UK at any given point.

• Writing accurate, breaking news articles quickly and concisely
• Attending awards evenings or conferences
• Interviewing politicians or chief constables
• Developing relationships with industry contacts
• Writing features and analysis

• A good understanding of the burning issues within the police and justice world is a must while an interest in home affairs is desirable
• Understand the importance of social media both in terms of researching articles and promoting their own work
• A selfstarter who can work on their own, or as part of a small but dedicated team,
• Time driven, able to file wellwritten and researched articles on a daily basis to agreed deadlines
• NQJ qualified
