This role will be part of our Nexus team that sit within Wavemaker Worldwide Activation

Wavemaker Worldwide Activation:

Wavemaker Worldwide Activation is the digital specialist arm of the worldwide hub.

It powers the digital thinking for Wavemakers largest global clients and acts as a central planning and buying team for clients who buy multimarket digital campaigns from one location.

Our digital thinking brings together media, data and technology to drive business results for our clients and is directly connected to our most senior global management team offering increased opportunity for senior level exposure.


Agency Context:

Our clients in Worldwide Activation are split into 4 specialist category hubs.

The set up of each team is specific to the client's needs but is largely dependent on the scope of media channels.


Client Context:


Embark Studios are the gaming company responsible for the hit game THE FINALS which is growing quickly internationally and seeing rave reviews.

Based in Sweden they have a start-up mentality and are agile and collaborative - a great, positive partner to Wavemaker.

ELF are a global cosmetics brand seeing their profile and sales grow exponentially. Through smart targeting strategies and amazing, eye-catching creative they are cementing their place among the cosmetic heavy-hitters.


Role Context:


Key Responsibilities:

As part of a busy Paid Social team the role is varied with several areas of focus. Account Executives will be given all the necessary training to help develop the skills required to fulfil their responsibilities.


These include:

Campaign Management

  • Endtoend set up of paid social campaigns across all the relevant social platforms.
  • Undertaking regular quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure campaigns are set up to defined best practice standards.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and pacing to ensure activity delivers as expected. Troubleshooting and optimising campaigns in order to improve performance as necessary.
  • Working to produce detailed & accurate weekly/monthly campaign performance reports, often in Microsoft Excel.
  • Writing performance commentary that delivers valuable insight and recommendations to clients.
  • Assisting with more detailed analysis including endofcampaign reporting, quarterly/annual reviews, and on standalone projects.

Client & Partner Management

  • Working closely with your linemanager & the wider team (including the Global Hub team) to support the delivery of highquality work for clients.
  • Working with partners and attending regular platform training sessions to further develop your paid social skillset.

Operational Excellence

  • Attend regular internal meetings and training sessions in order to actively contribute to a collaborative and friendly paid social community.
  • Responsible for following the mandatory agency finance processes. Working with linemanager and to ensure processes are followed, allowing for prompt payment/invoicing and to minimise finance queries.

About You:


  • Display an eagerness to learn. You should be diligent and attentive to detail, able to listen, learn new skills, and put these into practice quickly.
  • Able to display in interest in how digital advertising/marketing works (especially on social media channels) and a have desire to further your knowledge in this area.
  • Computer literate with a good base of skills across the Microsoft Office s
