Description
To ensure that all clinical and non-clinical correspondence are typed within local targets, using the Infoflex System. Ensure appropriate follow up is actioned i.e. outpatient appointments, investigations, patients added to waiting lists. Assist in monitoring the day case waiting list.

Ensure that waiting times meet NHS standards and targets. Respond to complaints where appropriate, escalating to Admin Team Leader Line if unable to resolve. To ensure that all results/reports/correspondence are filed in the case notes. To enter Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathway events accurately.

Ensuring all clinic outcomes have been recorded accurately. Ensuring a Patient Pathway Identifier (PPI) is correctly allocated to any event booked on PAS.

Ensuring that the review status is current and appropriate Responsible for entering further RTT codes as required:

Discharged on receipt of reports Treated after appointment Escalate to the Admin Team Leader any anomalies or concerns To ensure Inter Provider Transfers (IPT) are completed and updated.

To ensure that E-Referral work lists are actioned daily.

To identify areas for service improvement and support implementation. There are no responsibilities for line management of staff or budget control. Information technology IHCS, E-referral, Windip, Infoflex.

To provide cover for other members of the admin Chronic Pain Team as required to ensure optimum efficiency of the department.

To train and support new or less experienced staff within the team. To support the Secretarial Assistants within the department in their role and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. To be responsible for own development and to ensure mandatory training is kept up to date. Any other duties that may be required.

To support the Admin Team Leader to undertake change management.
