We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Person who can support the general maintenance of our Commercial and Residential properties in Birmingham, Walsall, Kidderminster and Black Country that has competent general building work skills.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- General building knowledge and experience
- Painting and decorating
- Experience in Plastering would be an advantage
- Carpentry skills
- Plumbing repair leaks, replacing bathroom and kitchen fittings
- Working Knowledge of electrics fitting fire appliances and smoke alarms (NICS NOT REQUIRED)
- Have experience in general DIY tasks
- End of tenancy clearances and refurbs
- Experience in Landscaping and general grounds Maintenance including rubbish removal
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance checks and keep records
Requirements for the role:
- Must have a Full UK Driving Licence
- Own vehicle and Tools are a must
- Experience within a maintenance role
- Have a Good Trade Network
- An understanding of general Health & Safety Regulations
- Be willing to carry out physically demanding duties
- Be reliable, punctual and be able to work to your own schedule
- Be able to prioritise tasks
- Preferable a minimum of 5 years experience required but recent qualified apprentices will be considered
- Has a "Yes" attitude to work
