AAT Trainee Accountant

Location:
Taunton


Position:
Full time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £25k


Our Client
Our client are a leading firm of chartered accountants with offices based in Taunton and the surrounding areas.

They are now looking to expand their accounts team and take on someone who is currently studying their AAT and then wanting to study furtherto do their ACA/ACCA.


This is a role with excellent progression and development potential as you'll be focused on working with the firms varied client base.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Bookkeeping and reporting
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Part qualified AAT with the drive to study further
  • Previous experience of working within practice


  • Confident and ambitious

  • Happy to pick up the phone to clients
  • On the job training will be given
