Edenvale Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced
Nursery Room Leader to join our client's team on a permanent basis in
Bishop's Stortford.


Our client knows that fabulous staff make a great Nursery and they pride themselves on having a highly qualified, trained and skilled team.

The Room Leader is responsible for

Creating a safe and fun environment for the children
:

Maintaining high-quality childcare and education,:

Working as part of a caring and passionate team
:

Ensuring they are a role model for staff including high levels of professionalism and standards of appearance
:

Leading the team within the room ensuring they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities
:

Effective communication
:

Time out to carry out termly supervisions, observations and cohort tracking
:

Ensuring the Early Years Foundation Stage is embedded and adhered to
:

Leading the Key Person's system within the room.
To be successful in the role, you will have
-
Experience of being a Room Leader in a Nursery setting
:

-
Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification
:

-
Knowledge of Safeguarding Children
:

-
Substantial knowledge of the EYFS
:

-
Effective time management
:

-
Able to ensure the safety and welfare of children
:

Effective time management.

This is full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. The salary for this role is £11.50-£12.50 per hour dependent on experience.

  • Nursery: 2 years (required)
  • Supervising: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification (required)
