Description

The sales director position at The Seasonal Group is a senior level business development professional that will be responsible for leading the company toward increased revenue.

This will be accomplished through the creation of strategies, sales team management and direct sales.


The primary responsibility of the sales director is to work with the sales team to indentify and pursue new opportunities for business development and drive the firm's long and short-term revenue growth strategies.

Growth from sales and marketing of existing and new products to existing and new customers


Responsibilities include:

  • To achieve KPI's, including sales targets
  • To develop and build relationships with current and new customers
  • Arrange customer visits and ensure regular site visits to customers to retain and build relationships
  • Seek out major new clients & identify new markets
  • To devise and deliver promotional activities and marketing and assist at trade and promotional events
  • To report to the Managing Director and regularly attend management meetings
  • Accurate sales forecasting and creating sales plans to ensure we meet / exceed budgets
  • Aim to maximise company efficiency, effectiveness and maintain healthy margins
  • Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the key customers to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to manage key customers (existing and new), thereby improving turnover and profitability.
  • Reviewing existing products, services and markets.
  • Liaising with relevant internal departments to ensure that customer needs are met and those customer requirements are fully communicated throughout the business.
  • Maintaining an awareness of external factors (including competitors, trends, potential markets, etc.) and communicating such information and any subsequent changes to the Managing Director.
  • Ensuring good relations and
    communications with all members of the team and external customers.
  • Assistance during installations / takeouts at key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions and to propose new exhibition opportunities.

Salary:
£55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
