Brick Kiln Place:
Part Time Team Leader Role - Extra Care Site.
Due to expansion of the business and internal progression, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join the team.
The aim of the position is to enable Customers to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Act as a role model for good practice and to provide effective leadership, support and mentor the care teamEnsure the best quality care is delivered always in line with Policies and procedures
To assist customers with care needs; as detailed in their individual care plan and to help meet the desired outcomes
To communicate effectively and build a professional rapport with customers, carers, families and professional bodies
To contribute to the customer review process, along with the customer, assessors and all involved parties, by using your knowledge of assisting the customer in meeting the desired outcomes
Undertake care staff observations, spot checks, mentor new and existing care staff, contribute towards their training and shadowing period providing constructive feedback
Gain feedback from customers and report any concerns, compliments, issues to the manager
Audit of Mar Sheets and daily logs.
Conduct regular checks on customer files to ensure all documentation is up to date and feedback areas to the manager
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and always uphold company values
To undertake the appropriate level of training and regular updates to stay abreast of best practice with regard to medication
This role will require a can do attitude and attendance to care calls where needed.
Every other weekend to be worked, plus out of hours (additional pay outside of salary)
Qualifications and Skills
Health & Social Care or QCF Qualification is preferred but not essential
Desired
- minimum 12 months experience within a similar role is desired but not essential
Flexible, to cover care calls as and when required.

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
