Description

Rapid Personnel are working with one of the UK's leading precision machining companies with state-of-the-art CNC machine tools and CNC sliding head turn-mill centres.

We are recruiting a Toolroom Operative (Metal Factory Operative) to join on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities

To work in the Toolroom and help with the upkeep of tools and storing them correctly.
To ensure continuous learning of company specific tools and procedures (full training provided)
Small amount of paperwork to ensure all tools are sorted correctly.
Signing in and out of tools and keeping records.
To operate machinery such as optical grinders.
To work with Callipers.

Requirements:

Able to understand English to a very high level.
Understanding of proper upkeep of tools.
Knowledge of tools and machines used within a metal factory environment.

Hours and Pay

Temporary, longterm position
8:00 to 15:30
Monday to Friday

- £12.00 per hour
