Are you passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of young learners? The Supply Room is currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill long-term vacancies as Teaching Assistants in primary, secondary, and specialist settings.


Position:
Teaching Assistant


Location:
Various schools across Southampton


Pay Rate:
£83.33-£90 per day (8:30am-3:30pm)

Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday


Start Date:

ASAP

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons
  • Supporting students with their learning and development
  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Providing oneonone support to students with additional needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education
  • Willingness to undergo DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
