Community Engagement Worker (Communities Team)

Duration:
Fixed-term contract, 12 months initially

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary:
Grade 3 (£21,757 - £24,174)

We are looking for a community-oriented worker, passionate about making the benefits of digital resources more accessible to more people.

You do not need to have extensive knowledge of IT systems or specific pieces of equipment but must have a broad understanding of the digital world around us.

More important, is the ability to support people who find technology and the digital world bewildering and frustrating.

You will need good communication skills, patience and a desire to ensure that nobody is left behind in today's digital world.

To do this, you will engage with organisations, services and community members to increase the uptake of services.

Salary:
£22,844.00-£25,383.00 per year
