Ward are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant/Crane Operator to join our team in Cardiff.

You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will carry out a range of duties across the site, including loading vessels and sorting and grading stock piles.


Hours
Monday to Friday 07.00 am pm. Please note that occasional weekend work may be required and overtime will be paid at a higher rate.


Requirements:


  • Operate cranes and other plant in a safe, competent manner
  • Monitor materials and report and nonacceptable material items
  • Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
