Description
Scientific Games International Ltd is a subsidiary of the $1Billion pa turnover, globally renowned Scientific Games Corporation. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art printing facility in Leeds supplies lottery scratch cards to clients in Europe.


We have recently upgraded our printing operation, installing a brand new 20 unit, in-line flexographic press which is capable of printing 700mm wide at a rate of 300 metres per minute.

This investment allows us to serve more customers than ever before.

We are currently looking for Accounts Clerks to join our busy Shared Services Centre Accounts team in Leeds.

As part of this team, you will primarily be performing transactional functions relating to Scientific Games Worldwide Ireland, with some involvement in our Asia and North America entities.


The role will involve:

Processing purchase invoices

Resolving invoice queries

Processing supplier payment runs

Carrying out supplier reconciliations

Creating and distributing accurate sales invoices and credit notes

Credit control

Performing bank reconciliations for all bank accounts

Producing weekly reports for purchase and sales ledger to aid in cashflow forecasting

Assisting the Accountant in month-end processing, including closing ledgers, posting depreciation journals, producing reports and performing some balance sheet reconciliations

Adhering to policies and procedures, including SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) framework

In order to be considered for this position you must possess the following:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders and colleagues

The ability to work well as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately

Superior time management skills and the ability to cope with tight and often conflicting deadlines

A flexible approach to work, and the willingness to assist in other areas where required

GCSE or equivalent grade C or above in Maths and English


Competence with Microsoft packages:
Outlook, Word and Excel

Although not essential, experience of working with Oracle would be an advantage.

Furthermore, you will be given a competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum as well as generous annual leave entitlement of 26 days per year plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme with a company match of up to 6% of pensionable salary.

A hybrid of home and office based working is available.
