Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.


We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.

We have exciting opportunities for 2 Administrators to join our People Services team, here at our York campus. Both roles will be full time, working 37 hours per week.


The primary focus will be to provide admin support for all areas of the team - these include Recruitment, Payroll and Learning & Development.


  • Provide an approachable and helpful first point of contact on behalf of the department and represent the broader People Services team to our internal and external customers.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems with attention to detail, ensuring that all information is securely stored in line with our data retention processes.
  • Bring strong administrative skillset and a highly organised approach to their work.
  • Support colleagues in the delivery of our People Plan, through their ability to work as part of an ambitious team.
