Builders' Merchant Company Ltd is an industry-leading independent supplier of building, timber, and plumbing supplies with locations in Hull, Goole, Rotherham, and Scunthorpe.

We provide a one-stop-shop solution for all building needs and focus on providing exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Rotherham for an Internal Sales representative.

The Internal Sales representative will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including lead generation and nurturing, sales forecasting and target tracking, customer support and order processing, and providing product training to customers.

Responsibilities:

Building and developing positive customer relations and ensuring excellent customer service throughout
Generating new business, raising awareness of BMC, and developing existing accounts.
Provide accurate quotes efficiently using our Quotation system.
Taking a proactive approach to sales and using all opportunities to develop and expand sales and margin.
Working to build good relationships with our supplier partners.

Qualifications

Communication and Customer Service skills
Sales experience and proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to provide effective product training to customers
Sales Management skills, including experience with sales forecasting and analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus.
Experience with Border Merchant Systems advantageous

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday,
