Description

Are you an experienced Buyer with an engineering or manufacturing background, looking for a fixed term contract? A great opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join an exciting and expanding business based in the Malton area on a 6-month fixed term basis.


As the Buyer you will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining supplies and services and expediting materials
  • Implementing contract strategies and managing contract development
  • Administering procurement processes and enrolling suppliers
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and onsite personnel
  • Generating purchase reports and training new employees on the procurement system
  • Being a key part of supporting the project procurement team
This Buyer role is commutable from York, Malton, Thirsk, Scarborough and surrounding areas.


Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£22.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kirkbymoorside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
