Residential Asset Management Assistant

Up to £28,000 plus bonus

DTZI is a global real estate investment and asset management business, managing over $10bn of property investments on institutional investors.

In October 2019 DTZI launched a residential investment fund that develops and operates large-scale co-living buildings, and to date has acquired three assets providing over 800 units across London These properties are being operated under DTZI's FOLK Co-living brand by the Fund's operating partner urbanbubble.

DTZ Investors (DTZi) are looking for a graduate to join the FOLK Co-living asset management team.

FOLK is a new co-living brand with big ambitions to transform the way people rent in cities by creating homes that offer opportunities to connect with others, architect-designed spaces, next-level convenience and a genuinely positive environmental and social impact.

What will you do?

Build a relationship between the onsite operational teams and the asset management team, working to understand roles and responsibilities, and daytoday challenges of operating a coliving building.
Monitor customer experience and brand feedback, including online feedback, social media and analysing customer survey responses.
Assist in setting operational financial targets and evaluating performance.
Undertake Co-Living competitor analysis
Implement the social impact strategy, building relationships with the Fund's Community Investment Partners and ensuring initiatives are implemented on site.
Assist with the marketing of the FOLK coliving brand.

What are we looking for?
This is a role that you won't find anywhere else. Therefore, we aren't necessarily looking for people who have previous experience of operational real estate.

We are looking for applicants who have the key skills outlined below and what they can bring to the role.

Selfstarter with the ability to stand on their own two feet without direction
Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
An intrinsic desire to understand and improve how things work, especially from the customers point of view
Excellent communicator (both written and oral)
Ability to analyse data
Collaborative team player able to work with stakeholders at all levels and build relationships with members of the onsite team and residents
Social media savvy
