We at SES are looking for a motivated and trustworthy individual to become a Plant Fitter in our team.

Those with an interest and background in servicing, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery are highly encouraged to apply.

With more than 25 years of expertise in rail engineering, SES is a trusted supplier to Network Rail and its partners in the rail infrastructure business working on a wide range of challenging railway projects throughout the UK.

About the Role:

Would suit newly qualified fitter looking to transfer from construction plant to road rail vehicles.
Carrying out planned maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacture specification and schedules.
Undertake electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs as required.
Complete maintenance and service documentation in line with company procedures.
Depot and sitebased working.
Machine familiarisation will be available.
Personal Track Safety certification (PTS) training will be provided.
RPA Certification (Rail Plant Association) training provided.

Requirements:

Drug & Alcohol test is mandatory.
Able to work unsupervised when required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willing to travel and work out of hours (nights/weekends).
Full driving licence.
Own tools required.
Within commuting distance from the Coatbridge depot.
Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems/24volt electrical systems and pneumatic systems.
23years excavator knowledge required, although RRV knowledge is not essential.
