Bookkeeper Newport
Countryside Recycling are seeking a bookkeeper to join our team based in Newport.

AAT Level 3 or other awarding equivalent certificate

Sage 50 experience

2 years experience in an office environment

Strong customer service skills

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Proven bookkeeping experience

The main duties include:

Sales and purchase ledgers
Customer and supplier liaison and dealing with queries in a timely manner
Bank and statement reconciliation
Payroll and payroll journals
Produce a weekly/monthly credit control report and liaise with commercial manager on a weekly basis ensuring all are within their credit terms
Produce monthly creditors payment report
Complete company VAT returns on time
Prepare a monthly cashflow forecast and review
Bring the books to the trial balance stage
Produce monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports
Replenish stationery and office supplies
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the commercial manager or director.

Hours:
Full time 45 hours: 8am - 5pm

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
