Do you come from an IT or technical background and are looking for a role which will allow you to lead your own support team and work with a broad range of technologies.

If yes, then this could be the role for you Our client is looking for a Service Desk Team Leader to join their rapidly growing team in Edinburgh.


Our client is looking for somebody who will be in charge of their own team of ambitious IT support analysts.

Working in a fast-paced environment where you would be required to handle leading the team through various tasks and projects.

Whilst are client are looking for someone who has prior experience in management or leading a team in a technical based role, the company will support you every step of the way with on-going training and support provided, in order to ensure you are able to efficiently progress in your career trajectory.


Key responsibilities:


  • Being the colead of the support team of around 1015 IT Support analysts.
  • Provide regular updates, reviewal and documentation of the ongoings and metrics of the support team.
  • Be responsible for the rota for the team, including planning for support shifts, clientserver patching and oncall support.

Looking for someone who:


  • Is able to efficiently lead and manage a team working on a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Has a prior workingbased knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure and Office 365).
  • Has exceptional communication and organisational skills and ability to ensure document management processes are regularly completed to the best of their ability.

Desirable skills:


  • Previous experience or leadership in a service desk environment would be advantageous.
  • A passion and mind for all things technology.
