SASW is looking for a part-time
Communications and Policy Officer to support and develop our work in ensuring the
voice of our members impacts
public policy related to the future of social work in Scotland.
Working closely with and supported by the Communications and Public Affairs Officer, the post holder will lead identified
policy tasks,
deliver excellent materials for internal use and external publication and
encourage and
support member
participation and
engagement.
This is a busy role covering social and other
media, work on
public consultations and relationship building with members, Scottish Government officials and other stakeholders.
innovatively as part of a small team. Whilst knowledge of health, social work and social care might be useful, it is not essential. The post holder will be supported by an enthusiastic team with knowledge and experience in the sector.

Part-time hours: 17.5 per week
Salary:
£27,476.00-£37,467.00 per year
