Assistant Accountant

Duties:

Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payments
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial reports with training and guidance
Participate in training and mentoring programs to develop accounting skills

Skills:

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
Strong organisational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in accounting while working part time hours - typically being 6 hours per day for 4 or 5 days per week.
