Tradewind are recruiting Are you a qualified teacher of Mathematics looking for a new role in Rocdhale?


Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Mathematics teacher to join a large secondary academy in Rochdale from February 2023.


This is a full-time supply teaching role paying up to £180 per day to cover temporary sickness absences in the maths department.

The Role

Teacher of Mathematics to GCSE

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

Experience of catch up lessons and intervention in key stage 3 would be helpful.


The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education maths specialists with experience of teaching maths to children aged 11 to 16.

Five days a week

To join us and be successful in this Maths Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • The school would also consider maths graduates with a further education teaching qualification such as PGCE14+, PCET or Certificate of education
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
