Overview:

Are you looking for a varied and rewarding role? Do you enjoy working with young people who have special educational needs?


We are seeking to appoint teaching assistants to work with all the young people in our care at Stocklake Park School.

Working as part of a team you will provide the support enabling all of our students to achieve the greatest possible level of independence and inclusion.


Start date:
As soon as possible, upon completion of all pre-employment checks with satisfactory results


Term Time Only

Job Salary:
Bucks Pay Range 3 Point Approximate gross salary £20,616 to £22,300 per annum (pro rata). FTE £24,310 to £26,295 per annum


Contract Type:
Permanent, term time only plus INSET days


Hours:37 hours per week Monday to Friday

Part of the Vale Federation of Schools, Stocklake Park Secondary School is a special school which caters for students who have moderate to severe learning difficulties.

There are currently 100 students at the main site.

Comprehensive training is provided as appropriate to the role and continued professional development of our staff is encouraged.


About you:


You will be able to liaise with other professionals in order to carry out recommendations required and also work on your own initiative.

A good working knowledge of ICT to be able to effectively support learning and a commitment to training is expected.

Resilience, common sense and a commitment to working as part of a team are also key attributes.
