Technical Support Co-ordinator


Our client a global company who are world leaders in their industry based in the Southampton area are currently looking to recruit a Technical Support Co-ordinator to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to join an exciting company with opportunities.

The role will be hybrid-based working one day a week from home and the role may involve travel across Europe and other parts of the world on occasions.

Excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are required for this role.


Role:
Technical Support Co-ordinator
Where:Southampton
Salary:c£25-30,000pa depending on experience


The role will involve supporting all clients and possible clients in an efficient and professional manner and being well prepared for all technical support communications and visits.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Educating endusers about new products and equipment.
  • Supporting the Account Managers & Project Engineer and Technical officers, with technical drawings, updating various paperwork and various admin tasks.
  • Being first touch point for new clients, agree products quantity and any matters to discuss to set up new accounts, and agree pricing for new clients.
  • Preparing Tool Bags, accessories etc for visits.
  • Update technical policies and procedures and ensure they are applicable in current situation.
  • Serve as line of communication between logistics, technical operations, and senior management.
  • Work closely with Stock Controller for stock and consumption control of supplies & stores in UK office including accessories, technical equipment, promo items and allocation for visits.
  • Supply all administrative support required for Engineers, and Logistics department as necessary.
  • Travel UK and/or international.

You will need:


  • To be ready to travel across Europe and other parts of the world.
  • To be a creative problem solver.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management & multitasking skills.
  • Experienced working within ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 18001 standards.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to plan, set goals and organise effectively.
  • Experience with data management good Microsoft Excel skills are fundamental.
